In the Community

Transforming properties and communities.

Once an iconic mainstay, Happy’s Flea Market had become an eyesore after being condemned and falling into disrepair. Breathing new life into the area, the Williamson Road area property was transformed into Fort Knox Drive-Thru Self Storage, a new state-of-the-art “drive-through” self-storage facility, and 11 Fort Knox Business Suites serving the local small business community.
The former 1920s Roanoke printery in Downtown Roanoke was transformed into an 18,000 sq. foot mixed-use space anchored by the gastropub Sidecar, the expansion of Martin’s Downtown restaurant next door, and 18 modern apartments that are helping revitalize 1st Street.
The renovation of historic 19 Franklin Road in the heart of Downtown Roanoke raised the bar on what it means to live and work downtown. Anchored by the marketing and creative shop Wallace360, the completely updated 8,500 sq. foot historic building is now home to seven urban-designed apartments.
The Fountain Square office building was renovated and modernized to create an updated commercial business hub that attracts new businesses and adds jobs and value to Roanoke's Old Southwest neighborhood.
